For our first event, we are honored to be benefitting A Foundation for Healthy Family Living™. Holding true to our belief that the consumer economy has a powerful place in the expansion of global healing and awareness, we will be using this opportunity to raise funds for this incredibly profound organization. Founded in 1997 by Kalena Babeshoff, HFL holds the vision of educating nurses, health practitioners, parents and caregivers in order to cultivate compassionate touch in the lives of individuals, their families and communities. HFL believes that even the broadest societal change begins with the sacred family unit—it is their mission to empower and support the health of families of all socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. We are putting together a high-profile panel of experts to discuss the collective healing of women, and specifically focusing on the topics of ancient and global pregnancy and infant care traditions and their re-emergence to meet the needs of our contemporary global world. The panel will be talk show style, and will be hosted by a well-known celebrity. There will also be a smaller event to follow at a spa, with a core group of visionary women, to set intention and fortify our collective vision. We are securing a media sponsor so that the event will have far-reaching effect.
In addition to the day-of event, we will be hosting an ongoing auction on our website. We are seeking sponsors, affiliates and donors to help make it a great success.
